Mary Cripton, (MINT), MSW, RSW is our Lead Trainer for the Maritime provinces. She assumes lead responsibility for MI Training in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Mary holds an MSW degree and is a member of the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) . She has more than 18 years of experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor and manager in both out-patient and residential treatment settings. Kevin Fisher, (MINT), MA is a Registered Psychologist and has extensive clinical and training experience training MI in the context of corrections, addicitons, corrections, mental health (concurrent disorders), brain injury, social work and health education. Kevin facilitates professional development courses in Motivational Interviewing across Canada and is respected for the way he makes learning MI fun, practical, and thought-provoking for participants from a variety of backgrounds

   

Corliss Gilgan, (MINT) B.Ed. has considerable experience in applications of MI relevant to First Nations and Northern communities. Corliss has extensive experience in the field of addictions, counsellor training, program design and organizational development. In addition, she has more than 25 years experience in executive leadership, including as a Deputy Minister (Health and Social Services).

Dr. Gordon Gilgan is a specialist in adult education and instructional technique. He has extensive experience in the creation and support for the development of "learning organizations". His previous academic work and involvement in academic administration (including  roles of President and Vice-President of two Canadian colleges) was a significant foundation in his deep belief that "learning to learn" and "life-long learning" are essential if adults are to move beyond knowledge and into true "ability". He is our lead consultant in curriculum and instructional design and acts as our team lead for course development, instructional design, and in the development of organizational learning resources. Dr. Gilgan also assumes the lead role with some projects where strategic plan development is required in preparation for a long-term "roll-out plan" for a Learning Project
