The newest addition to our growing network of trainers is a member of the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and is a specialist in the field of Diabetes treatment. We're grateful for his keen interest in the area of MI application to  Chronic Disease Management - and for his heading up this new division in our work of delivering specialized MI training and education. Dr. Steinberg is passionate about helping medical professionals enhance their ability to communicate effectively, and compassionately, with patients. He validates MI as a way to improve "teamwork" between helper and patient so that together they can discover collaborative ways of exploring pathways to behaviour change. We are now able to offer our 3-day curriculum at both the introductory and advanced levels to those agencies who want a custom-tailored workshop with a focus on interventions for those with chronic health conditions, including Diabetes.
